Getting involved with software was a completely new experience for us as a training provider. After trialling numerous products we decided to go deeper into discussions with Genius.

Prior to engaging with Genius, we were scheduling, tracking, and reporting on all training courses, refreshers, CPD and company inductions via a number complex spreadsheets. With a staff of over 400 this was not practical and was increasingly time-consuming.
It became apparent that most software in the market is aimed at training providers who sell their courses and generate a return on their services, thus allowing them to offset the cost of the software relatively quickly. As our training is for internal staff only, we needed a system that would offer the same functionality but at a lower price. Then we found Genius.

Carl spent as much time as we needed taking us through system demonstrations and answering all our questions. Once we had decided, we had access to the software the next day and were up and running within the week.
We have unlimited phone and email support from the Genius team and the system has regular updates which improve functionality based on the requirements of existing software users.
For us, the system has two main advantages;
1) It allows managers to book their staff on training from any device with internet access, no matter where they are or what time it is.
2) In a heavily regulated industry it allows for automated management of compliance deadlines with reminders sent to learners and managers.
In turn this has increased capacity within the admin team and it means fewer reports are needed as managers can track training themselves.

Customer support is available on the phone or via email and responses are quick and to the point. The whole system has professionalised the way training is managed within the organisation and will allow our Learning and Development function to grow as the company does. Genius is an extremely cost effective solution to the tedium and limited functionality of spreadsheets!.

I was looking for one solution to replace the multiple spreadsheets and systems we had developed over time. Duplication of data was a real problem and trying to manage this was labour-intensive and not very effective.

Genius saves us time by managing all of our bookings in one place with Stripe and just one click to send joining instructions.
We can manage trainers with individual diaries and course availability is easily displayed for us and our customers. Not only that, our customers really like it too, it ties in with our branding and is simple to use.

Before using Genius I was spending hours updating my website with courses and sending out joining instructions individually after taking each booking.
Using Genius cuts down this time significantly and once set up it can take less than a minute to post a course and take bookings.
